This interior door is designed according to the ’old standard’ that was prevalent in Sweden between 1962 and 1972. This historical standard dictates that the doors are 25 mm lower than today’s standard dimensions, while maintaining the same width and thickness as contemporary doors.
A key feature of these old standard doors is the use of pivot hinges, in contrast to the snap-in hinges found in modern doors. However, this door comes equipped with a hinge adapter, allowing for versatile installation as either a left-hung or right-hung door to suit your specific needs.
The door’s lock mechanism is designed for ease of use and adaptability. It features a reversible latch bolt that can be easily adjusted by pulling it out and rotating it 180 degrees, ensuring compatibility with various door orientations.
Crafted with a molded core and a lacquered surface, this door offers a classic aesthetic with its three-panel design in an antique white (NCS S 0502-Y) finish. It is an ideal choice for various indoor spaces such as offices, children’s rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms.
Please note that door frames and door handles are sold separately, allowing you to customize the complete door assembly to perfectly match your interior design and functional requirements.
