The Grand Meyer EcoNG170 is a twin-conductor electric underfloor heating mat engineered to deliver efficient, comfortable warmth across a 2.0 m² area. Featuring an ultra-slim 3.6 mm cable securely stitched onto a durable fiberglass mesh, it is ideal for installation under tiles, marble, laminate, or carpet.

Designed with a specific output of 170 W/m² and a total heating capacity of 340 W, it provides fast, even heat distribution across floor surfaces, making it an excellent choice for both primary and comfort heating applications.

Engineered with a slim cable profile of only 3.6 mm and an overall mat thickness of 3.8 mm, this heating solution allows for minimal floor height build-up. It can be installed directly into thin tile adhesive layers or leveling compounds, making it suitable for new construction projects as well as floor renovation works where low screed thickness is critical.

Durability and electrical safety are central to the EcoNG170 construction. The heating core utilizes twisted resistance conductors made of CuNi, CuCr, or NiCr alloys, insulated with advanced heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and fully shielded by an aluminum foil layer. The outer sheath consists of modified high-temperature resistant PVC, grounded by twisted Al-Mg drain wires.

For straightforward and hassle-free installation, the twin-conductor cable is firmly stitched onto a strong, 0.2 mm thick synthetic fiberglass mesh with a 50 cm width. This pre-spaced design prevents shifting during screed or adhesive application. The mat also includes a 3.0 m cold lead for convenient connection to a thermostat and a self-extinguishing PVC corrugated conduit for floor temperature sensor placement.
