Mapei Primer VT Plus is an advanced latex-based primer and vapor barrier specifically formulated for interior wet room assemblies. As a key component of certified wet room systems, it works seamlessly alongside waterproof membranes such as Mapegum WPS to provide an impenetrable barrier against moisture migration.

Engineered to satisfy demanding building standards, this primer provides reliable moisture control in areas requiring an Sd-value exceeding 10 meters. Its thixotropic liquid consistency ensures clean and drip-resistant application on both vertical walls and horizontal floor surfaces.

Primer VT Plus provides excellent adhesion across a wide variety of indoor substrates. It is suitable for direct application onto concrete, render and plaster mortars, anhydrite screeds, gypsum boards, cementitious leveling compounds, and approved construction boards.

Formulated for ready-to-use application, the primer must not be diluted with water. It is applied easily by brush or roller in two perpendicular coats with an economical total consumption of approximately 0.3 kg/m², ensuring uniform coverage and dependable barrier performance.

With EMICODE EC1 Plus certification, Primer VT Plus guarantees very low volatile organic compound emissions, contributing to safe and healthy indoor air quality throughout both installation and daily building use.
