The Franke Spirit 1221B-16 is an under-cabinet cooker hood designed for central ventilation systems, featuring an ultra-slim canopy and energy-efficient LED cooktop lighting. It includes a built-in 3-step transformer and a motorized electronic sliding damper for precise extraction airflow control.
The Franke Spirit 1221B-16 cooker hood offers an understated, low-profile design tailored for seamless under-cabinet installation. With a visible canopy height of just 60 mm and a classic white finish, it integrates cleanly beneath overhead kitchen cabinetry while maximizing overhead space.
Engineered specifically for homes and apartments connected to central ventilation or heat recovery systems, this unit operates without an internal motor by coordinating directly with the central exhaust fan. An integrated 3-step transformer allows full extraction speed regulation of the external fan directly from the cooker hood.
Airflow management is handled via an electronically controlled motorized sliding damper. This mechanism enables precise adjustment between baseline ventilation and boost extraction during cooking, providing smooth operational control and reliable performance.
The hood provides clear visibility across the entire cooking surface with integrated, energy-efficient LED lighting. Intuitive electronic push-button controls make managing the lighting and ventilation settings straightforward during meal preparation.
Routine upkeep is facilitated by an Easy Clean design and a removable, washable grease filter. The unit connects via a standard 125 mm duct diameter and requires a minimum installation clearance of 650 mm above gas cooking surfaces.
