The Einhell FREELEXO CAM 500 is an intelligent camera-guided robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 500 m². Utilizing optical recognition and ultrasonic sensors, it identifies lawn borders and obstacles without the need for complex boundary wire installations.
The Einhell FREELEXO CAM 500 is part of the high-performance Power X-Change family, offering versatile cordless convenience across all compatible 18V tools and garden equipment. Equipped with an advanced integrated camera, the robot recognizes the boundaries of the lawn area by detecting turf colors and structures, allowing immediate deployment without tedious boundary wire installation.
Integrated ultrasonic and impact sensors detect physical boundaries and obstacles such as walls, hedges, trees, and obstacles taller than 10 cm. The camera also identifies optical edges like bark mulch, gravel, and asphalt, allowing the mower to navigate seamlessly across different lawn layouts.
For areas requiring temporary exclusion, such as freshly planted trees or flower beds, the included 5-meter magnetic tape serves as a virtual boundary. Magnetic sensors on the mower detect the tape and automatically redirect the unit away from the protected zone.
The robotic mower features intuitive push-button controls and an LED display to easily schedule operating hours. It is secured against theft and unauthorized tampering with a dedicated PIN code protection system and an integrated acoustic alarm.
Equipped with a brushless motor, an 18 cm cutting width, and an adjustable cutting height between 20 mm and 60 mm, the FREELEXO CAM 500 operates efficiently on slopes of up to 25%. Built-in rain sensors ensure the mower pauses cutting in wet conditions and returns automatically to its docking station to recharge.
