The Roth X-PERT S5 is a 5-layer 16 x 2.0 mm PE-RT underfloor heating pipe delivered in a 650-meter coil, offering high flexibility, exceptional durability, and integrated oxygen diffusion protection.
The Roth X-PERT S5 underfloor heating pipe is specifically engineered to meet the demands of modern hydronic radiant heating systems. Manufactured with a core of high-grade PE (polyethylene) enhanced with thermal additives for Raised Temperature (RT) resistance, this pipe ensures reliable thermal performance and longevity.
Featuring an advanced 5-layer (S5) composite construction, the pipe incorporates an inner PE-RT layer, an adhesive bond, an EVOH oxygen diffusion barrier, a second adhesive layer, and a robust PE outer protective layer. This multi-layer design shields the internal oxygen barrier from mechanical wear and tear during installation.
A standout characteristic of the Roth X-PERT S5 pipe is its excellent flexibility coupled with structural resilience. It allows for tight bending radiuses without kinking, making the installation process significantly faster, smoother, and less labor-intensive on site.
Built to withstand standard heating conditions, the pipe is rated for a continuous operating temperature of up to 70°C, with short-term temperature tolerance reaching 95°C. It operates safely at a nominal maximum working pressure of 6 bar (PN6).
Supplied in an extensive 650-meter continuous roll, this pipe is ideal for large-scale underfloor heating installations, allowing extensive loop layouts while minimizing connections and waste.
